So we are here finally at Jimbaran Bay and our hotel Rimba Jimbaran. You can’t visit this place without visiting the famous seafood restaurants on the beach itself. It’s a classic story of Bali that most travellers tell of when they get back to their families and friends. You come to the beach in the afternoon, sit on the sea of tables on the sand …

If you’re in the mood for a perfect coffee in Bali, “Revolver Espresso is the place to be”, they say. This somewhat of a hidden community is just off Jalan Laksmana in the heart of Seminyak. Along with its Australian style coffee, this almost newtown-esque cafe — hipster craze has definitely hit Asia — serves up smoothies, delicious breakfasts and a variety of lunch menus. They are proud …

One of our cousin took us out to lunch to this Japanese Soba Bar called Abura Soba. It was an interesting little place as it boasts a different way to eat a Soba Noodle to what we know previously. They were also known as the Ottoman Empire so hence the name Ottomans Coffee Brewers. I haven’t been back to Jakarta in a while now and coffee culture …

We had a bit of a free time before a party at the house and I asked my cousin to take me around for a couple of good coffee. The first place we visited is Ombe Kofie, this was the closest to our house, only about 5 minutes away. Ombe means drink in Javanese language, so it already sets off a nice home-ey vibe to …

Visited a cafe in Paris that was reviewed to be one of the best and surprise surprise, it’s owned and run by an Australian. The coffee was good, and the food looks just like a cafe back in Sydney. It was a bit hard finding it in a smaller street but at the end we did anyways, a late lunch is better than no lunch!
